Identity Crisis

There’s something quite charming about giving your technology a limited sense of personality or identity. Now I’m imagining my iPod and my Mac get along on the basis that the Mac regards the iPod purely as a massive and untapped market for western, capitalist intellectual property, whereas my iPod holds my Mac in a degree of arms-length sociological and political suspicion and contempt, whilst secretly wishing it was just as liberated and connected to the outside world as the hedonistic Mac is.
