Apple TV 2.0 Landing Party
Listening to the guys on MacBreak Weekly trying to work out why Apple didn't open up the new iOS based Apple TV to the App Store.
My guess is because there is no installed base and the big games studios won't invest. Until January. Or it's too underpowered to render games at 720p. Probably the latter. Either way it's only a matter of time.
Update : Scratch the performance point, that's silly - an iPad already runs effectively at more than 720p, so it's not performance.

My Apple TV hard disk died and an exchange for a refurb replacement cost £116, so probably!
